Someone You Love #2
Someone You Love is a literary workshop by Rain Chudori held on Saturday, 13th of August. Participants are given space to to express their own, individual journeys through life and love with the medium of letters. Beneath are some of the selected works from the session.
For the greatness I hope you’ve become, my wishes are that you are truly well; that you’ve mended your heart, healed and warmed your soul, and that you have a love that runs wildly deep throughout your veins each day of your precious life.
I have been longing to see you for some time. All honesty, fear, and doubts fill every waking hour of my suffocating present. Wondering if you will ever survive the cruel battle of devilish toxins with that negative attitude of yours. Warning signs were clearly sounding off like honks seconds before a crash. You were always too proud to neither listen nor care.
It gives me such joy to have you back – connected to your body and occupying your element. You are beautiful. I have always wondered why you thought otherwise. I’m so sorry; I didn’t know whenever you looked into a mirror you only saw scars. It wasn’t visible to me from my point of view. If I had known, I would have never let you go from my embrace. Now look at you – you shine like a unique gem. You have had a life behind you, yet you have always stayed true to your identity, the world, and everything ahead of you.
I love you. I know I’ve never said it to you before, and I have always regretted it. You are a part of this journey called life. You’ve written your story; and I adore each and every word you’ve written. You are whole. I will always appreciate the seconds I spent with you. I will always sincerely be thankful for all the moments we shared.
I wish you a lifetime of passion and happiness, wrapped in greatness, of course.
